🤔 a Blog, Why ?
So was always into writing stuff, be it tech documentation, guides for other developers or “elaborate” Slack messages 🤷♂
When thinking about writing a blog I was always thinking to myself — “what do I have to contribute ? do I have something unique to say ? what’s my added value ?”
So after years of contemplating I decided to take the plunge !
🌱 Reasoning
I think that what I’m usually missing in a lot of technical blog posts is that they tend to “solve” really simple engineering issues that basically tl;dr huge tutorials.
Another motivation, in my mind, is that I do think I find myself tackling issues that I genuinely find interesting. Designing systems challenges you to think about solutions but the bar which you set to an acceptable solution varies greatly and is usually not mandated by the product team’s requirements.
To that end I find that UX-driven solutions tend to set a higher level of execution which I find the most interesting — these are the things I want to talk about !
